We’ve Made Mistakes

Life may not always go the way we want it to, and several factors come into play that influence it.

Most notably, our mistakes. Eventually, our mistakes catch up to us, no matter how much we try to run away from them.

We can suppress them, hide them, or try to avoid them, but they will always reappear one way or another.

Friend, you don’t have to run from them anymore!

No matter what you’ve done, you are not too far gone for restoration.

THE WAY TO RESTORATION

The Solution

Those mistakes don’t have to define your future. You can begin a new journey toward a brighter future today.

God understands the mistakes we’ve made in our lives, and He provides a solution.

He desires you to have a thriving life and therefore gave us His only Son.

“For God made Christ, who never sinned, to be the offering for our sin, so that we could be made right with God through Christ.”

2 Corinthians 5:21

“My purpose is to give [you] a rich and satisfying life”

John 10:10

Our sins separated us from God, leading to a life without guidance and filled with mistakes.

But God, made a way for restoration by sending His only Son, Jesus Christ, to pay the price for all of your sins.

“Your [sins] have separated you from God; your sins have hidden his face from you.”

Isaiah 59:2

“[God] is so rich in kindness and grace that he purchased our freedom with the blood of his Son and forgave our sins.”

Ephesians 1:7

THE WAY TO RESTORATION

Jesus Christ

The Bible says…

“Anyone who belongs to Jesus Christ has become a new person. The old life is gone; a new life has begun!”

2 Corinthians 5:17

Jesus Christ is the way to a restored life. By surrendering your life to Him just as it is now, you will be born again into a new life, better than the last.

“Jesus [said], “I am the way, the truth, and the life.””

John 14:6

“All who believed [Jesus] and accepted him, he gave the right to become children of God. They are reborn—not with a physical birth but a birth that comes from God.”

John 1:12-13

Jesus gave His life to transform your life for the better because without Him, you can’t.

Confess your mistakes to Him, and He will lift your burdens, providing you with a clean slate through His cleansing blood.

“[Jesus] gave his life to free us from every kind of sin, to cleanse us, and to make us his very own people.”

Titus 2:14

“If we confess our sins to him, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all wickedness.”

1 John 1:9

At the moment you confess, your old life will pass away, and you will be brought to new life through Jesus.

Let’s say this prayer together.

Pray this aloud whether it is a whisper or a shout!

Lord Jesus, I surrender my life to You. I ask that You renew my life through Your Holy Spirit. I confess that I have sinned and ask for Your forgiveness, cleansing me with Your precious blood. I have decided to turn away from my sins and start anew. I want a relationship with You and I ask that You come into my life, and be the Lord of my life. I pray this in Jesus’ name, amen!
